A. Rules of Arbitration

of Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a member of the German Arbitrage Institution (DIS), which provides rules of arbitration.

For this reason, Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry limits its rules of arbitration to the following regulations:



§ 1

If the parties have made an arbitration agreement making reference to the rules of arbitration of Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the
rules of arbitration of the German Arbitrage Institution Reg. Assoc. (DIS) in the version valid at the time of submission of the statement of claims shall be applicable pursuant to the following provisions, to the extent that the parties have not made any deviating agreement.

§ 2

As a deviation from § 21 of the DIS rules of arbitration, the venue of the arbitration court is Frankfurt am Main, to the extent that the parties have not made any deviating agreement.


§ 3

As a supplement to § 6 sub-section 1 of the DIS rules of arbitration, the claimant can also submit the claim to Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In such a case, the arbitration proceedings shall commence upon receipt of the statement of claims by Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


§ 4

Appointments according to §§ 12, 13 und 14 DIS rules of arbitration are done by the Chairman of Frankfurt am Main Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
