International Stammtisch
Frankfurt's most famous son, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, perhaps said it best. "Here I am myself. Here I am at home" in reference to the city on the Main river. Frankfurt is a city of contrasts and diversity. It's a melting pot of cultures, languages and lifestyles. Its imposing skyline, the busy train station and the hectic airport is what newcomers often first notice, but if you look more closely you will find quiet neighbourhoods, picturesque city parks and relaxed beer gardens. In short, Frankfurt is one of Europe's most liveable cities. To help you feel more at home in your new home, we have established the International Stammtisch – Meet & Mingle in Mainhattan.
We invite all Newcomers to an After-work Party at the Frankfurt School of Finance and "on tour" at alternating locations. Each month, the International Stammtisch welcomes you to an informative, interesting and above all international evening. We will present the best the city has to offer, whether its museums, culture, music, international clubs…There will be a snack bar with drinks and light refreshments for purchase and a friendly atmosphere.
International Stammtisch is an initiative of the city of Frankfurt, the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce, the Frankfurt School of Finance, Frankfurt International School, ISF Internationale Schule Frankfurt-Rhein-Main, Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft e.V., the English Theatre and Newcomers-Network.de.
It's free of charge, but prior registration is required. To register for the events, please click here.
(Those who come without registering ahead of time will be charged 5 Euro at the door)
Events take place at Frankfurt School of Finance, and also "on tour" at alternating locations.

Meet Charly Steinmair in Frankfurt's Partner City Granada Nicaragua
About this Event
Mr. Steinmaier lives in our twin city Granada in Nicaragua and has been providing development assistance there for over 30 years. Living to the principle of “helping people to help themselves”, he has already carried out disaster relief there (Granada was recently hit by floods), set up a women's center and is in close contact with the local population. His experiences will bring all of us closer to the life of an expat in an emerging market away from all conveniences.
